Billing
Prescient Lab Services strives to provide easy access and pain-free billing for patients. Following the testing, PLS will bill the patient’s insurance carrier for all testing services as ordered by the referring physician.
Should a payer deny or only provide partial payment, PLS will submit up to three levels of appeals on behalf of the patient to the payer (during which time PLS might seek additional information from the clinician or the patient).
PLS is required by law to bill patients for any applicable deductibles, outstanding balances, and co-insurances, as required by the payer.
